Pocklington’s Christmas Tree Festival

Pocklington Town Council and All Saint’s Church Pocklington are organising a Christmas Tree Festival from Saturday 1st December to Sunday 9th December.

The Town Council are asking if local businesses and organisations would like to sponsor and decorate the trees in the church.  There will be 18 trees available.

The cost for a tree is:

  • £30 for a business
  • £10 for a community or charitable organisation.

The sponsor can choose how to decorate the trees. Please note that only battery operated lights can be used to light the trees.

The trees will be set up and available to decorate on Friday 30th November from 1 pm – 7pm.*

The festival will coincide with Pocklington’s Festival of Christmas on Wednesday 5th December.  Carols with the Mayor will be in the Church on Sunday 9th December from 2pm followed by refreshments.

To reserve a tree or for more information on the Christmas Tree Festival Please contact Gordon Scaife (Town Clerk).  Trees need to be reserved by Wednesday 21st November.

 

* Times may vary depending on if there are services taking place in the church.
